Our family's journey of discovery on Life Sabbatical
Our home for the Summer and Fall. This cabin was built by my father in 1946 with his new French war bride on a beautiful little lot on the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. I spent every summer here with my family growing up and we still own it! It is the geographical center of my life and I could live here forever!!
We're two parents with a preschooler who left our jobs in the U.S. to embark on a "life sabbatical" for...well, awhile let's just say. We started in Lisbon for three months, then on to London for a few weeks, then back across the pond for some bike touring, a cabin high in the mountains, eventually vanlife wherever the way beckons. Probably. That's the plan. But you know what they say, life is what happens while you're making other plans, so our goal is just to live each day as well as we can, hopefully get pretty good at it, and see where it all takes us. We invite you to follow along.
